To use the standalone version, download (e.g. to the Desktop so you don't lose it) the single file wallet-viz-world.html, containing everything you need, and open it in any browser. It will work just like the web version of the site. The only difference: in the local version for technical reasons there is no Market section, it is only available on the website.
If your level of paranoia is off the charts, we suggest connecting a standalone version to your own VIZ blockchain node: you can do this on the start page without entering your username and key.
